Fall Is Here! (Well, Almost)

I cannot believe it, but this Wednesday, September 23, is the first day of fall. Halloween decorations (and in some stores even Christmas decorations) are out and ready for purchase, pumpkin patches are getting prepared and Halloween costumes and parties are being planned. So this week I am dedicating this newsletter to the start of fall. It is one of my favorite seasons because it includes my favorite holiday (Halloween), my birthday and it's the start of the holiday season. I really cannot wait to start burning pumpkin spice candles, making baked goods and enjoying the cool breeze this season brings to even us Floridians.

Pumpkin Patch at St. Monica’s Church in Naples
The Pumpkins are arriving at St. Monica’s on October 8th so get ready! The pumpkin patch will be open every day from
October 9-31st at 10am. Plus they will have their
11th Annual Pumpkin Patch Festival is on October 24.

Pumpkin Patch at Lake’s Regional Park in Ft. Myers
Pick your own pumpkins, bounce house, super slide, games, hayrides, Halloween train rides, creepy carriage rides and more! The fun takes place from October 16th-31st: Mon-Fri 6:00pm - 9:00pm, Sat-Sun 10:00am - 9:00pm

Haunted "Gross" House at Collier County Fairgrounds in Naples
This haunted house also has a hayride and food vendors. Admission is $15.00 for one walk through the haunted house. Dates are October 24-25, 30-31 and November 1.
Halloween night festivities will include a Trunk or Treat
from 7:30-8:30pm and a Costume Contest at 9pm.

The 9th Annual RiverFest Autumn Festival at Riverside Park in Bonita Springs
This years celebration will take place on October 24.
Admission is free. This years event will include live entertainment,
a cornhole tournament, free hayrides, a pumpkin patch,
petting zoo, pony rides, and even a fish fry! There is also the Imperial River Challenge, which is a tradition, that includes
canoe and kayak races, a pumpkin decorating content,
and a rubber duck race for kids.

Pumpkin Patch at North Naples United Methodist Church in Naples
Beginning on October 10th this years pumpkin patch will be
open on Saturday and Sundays from 9am-7pm and
weeknights from 3pm-7pm.
