Meet Toni

Toni was born and raised in Maryland, where she resided until relocating to SW Florida in 2018. In 2000, Toni graduated from the University of Baltimore with a 4.0 grade point average. During her tenure, she was a Wilson Scholar recipient, named to the National Dean’s List and awarded the Jurisprudence Merit Award. She received her Juris Doctorate degree with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was awarded the Family Law Clinical Excellence Award.

Toni has exclusively practiced Family law since 2003. Before joining Family First Legal Group, Toni practiced Family Law for 15 years at Kaufman, Ries & Elgin, P.A., in Maryland, representing clients in all aspects of divorce, including custody, child support, alimony and complex financial issues. In addition, Toni has lectured for the National Business Institute and the Maryland State Bar Association on various family law issues, including drafting marital settlement agreements and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. She was also an Official Reporter for Maryland for the American Bar Association, ABA Law in the Fifty States, from 2009 to 2016.

Outside the office, Toni enjoys spending time with her husband, rescue puppy Tucker, and friends. She loves the beach, outdoor festivals and the beautiful southwest Florida weather. During football season Toni can be found passionately rooting for the Baltimore Ravens.

Toni is licensed to practice law in Maryland since 2003 and in Florida since 2018. She is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell; named to The Best Lawyers in America®, “Family Law” 2018 and 2019, Maryland Super Lawyers, Super Lawyer, 2012 and Maryland Super Lawyers, Rising Star, 2010, 2011.
